Power? Or spending power?

The President's dwindling power down to dwindling approval of voters? Or down to the fact he's not being allowed to achieve his goals at the source? When he's blocked by 'moderate' democrats, I'm guessing moderate stands for their fee. The most powerful man in the world is only as powerful as the the most powerful businesses in the world allow him to be.
